Olsen Wings are present over the globe with small
wind turbine blades
Olsen Wings has been in the wind business for many years and as a supplier of blades for wind turbines we have a wide range of products available. Most of them are for normal commercial sale, others are dedicated customers that want us to do their specified designs.
We take pride in doing quality products, always with a high level of supporting for our customers, so the turbine projects will succeed and the machines will run optimal when being designed for- and being equipped with an OLW rotor.
Blade types
Below you will find examples of blades being produced here in Olsen Wings.
Our market is spread wide around our globe. New turbine projects are being developed together with us and our products, while others are based on refurbishment of older wind turbines. We support with blades and theoretical know how – needs for this to happens.
An example for a blade is the 10 meter blade, OLW965. It is a low wind optimized blade that are used on turbines from 50-90 kW output. It run turbines in the UK, Scotland and Ireland, the southern Europe, US and Sweden. Among the installations are new turbine designs, but also older machines in Italy or in UK, Scotland and Ireland has been refitted with this blade. The Vestas V17-20 is machines that still is alive and sometimes with this OLW965.
